Namaste Soul Brothers & Sisters!
There is something about living in the most loving culture on earth that inspires your love to grow as well. Bali is not a destination you check off a bucket list, never to think of again. She holds a piece of your heart forever and gently encourages your soul even when apart. Your first visit is the beginning of a lifelong love affair.

Our week LOOKS like this:
Beauty. Earth Element (Bhumi) Days 1-2 (1st Chakra Root)
Art. Water Element (Jala) Days 3-4 (2nd Chakra Sacral)
Love. Fire Element. (Agni) Days 5-6 (3rd Chakra Solar Plexus)
Inspiration. Air Element (Vayu) Days 7-8 (4th Chakra Heart)

Our week FEELS like:
Poetry, Dharma, Sweetness, Bhakti, Cycling, Hiking, Laughing, Hugging, Swimming (or standing at the swim-up bar) & Music. The live musical inspiration provided by the accomplished Wisdom Teacher, Kirtan Performer, Jim Beckwith! Have you listened to his new album River of Song? You’ll love it! And you’ll adore his teachings as Co-Leader on our upcoming Bali Yoga Retreat. You’ll find us both inspiring Love (Bhakti) at around the world including Sedona Yoga Festival, Wanderlust, Bali Spirit Festival, NW Yoga Conference and more.

May all of your lives, no matter where you are, be filled with Beauty. Art. Inspiration. and Love.
****************************************
Hey Soul Riders, Music Lovers and Bhakti Yogis!

During our 8-DAY ADVENTURE we will explore natural beauty and the transformative power of lovingkindness and feel how the rich, Balinese culture integrates these into all aspects of life. We will take time to experience the gentle people, foods, beaches and ceremonies that make up the most unique aspects of Bali known as the “Island of Love.” We will enjoy traditional Balinese meals and dance performances, hike through the countryside, sing medicine songs and practice yoga together, while immersing ourselves in the warm sunshine.

Here you will find flowers and smiles for miles and miles, a Namaste throughout the day. The wafting of sweet incense following your every movement. And our Alchemy Family holding space for your personal evolution, healing and joy. To enhance our “sacred fun” we have included BaliSpirit Festival tickets so we may attend together April 1-3, 2016.

Our home for the week is a luxury, boutique hotel set amongst rice fields on the outskirts of Ubud15. view-surrounding hotel—the cultural and arts epicenter of the island. With spacious, elegant rooms (and private bathrooms), a large saline pool, perfectly manicured gardens, a top-notch spa, and rice field paths to trek, this will serve as the perfect place to be as close to the action as you like, but still remain in the tranquility of nature. There are free shuttles into town every two hours, so you are never far from the action. Or, opt to rent a motor and scoot around to your heart’s content! Whether it’s cycling, surfing, white water rafting, swimming, riding a scooter, visiting elephants and monkeys, taking a cooking class, or just chilling on a beach, you will have ample time to do as much—or as little as you desire.

Sanur Beach Club & Day Spa
The island of Bali is surrounded by coral reefs. Beaches in the south where we'll be at Sanur have white sand and the ones on the East have black sand. There is good reason why Bali wins “The Island of The Year Award” almost every year. For instance, Bali received the Best Island award from Travel and Leisure in 2010. And according to BBC Travel released in 2011, Bali is one of the World's Best Islands, ranked second after Greece. (Source: Wikipedia). This trip is a not to miss opportunity to enjoy a day spa and beach club along with riding a bike along the boardwalk if you want. Or kite surf, wind surf or just play in the water in between spa appointments.

Visit Kopi Luwak Coffee plantation for tasting and tour
"Kopi Luwak coffee comes from the Indonesian island of Sumatra, an area well-known for its excellent coffee. Also native to the area is a small civit-like animal called a Paradoxurus. That's the scientific name, the locals call them luwaks. These little mammals live in the trees and one of their favorite foods is the red, ripe coffee cherry. They eat the cherries, bean and all. While the bean is in the little guy's stomach, it undergoes chemical treatments and fermentations. The bean finishes its journey through the digestive system, and exits. The still-intact beans are collected from the forest floor, and are cleaned, then roasted and ground just like any other coffee.

The resulting coffee is said to be like no other. It has a rich, heavy flavour with hints of caramel or chocolate. Other terms used to describe it are earthy, musty and exotic. The body is almost syrupy and it's very smooth." - http://coffeetea.about.com/cs/kindsofcoffee/a/aakopiluwak.htm

In the U.S. it will go for $300 per pound. Your tasting is included as part of your retreat. And it's up to you to purchase some to take home, we always do! And it's a whole lot less expensive in Bali.

FAQ's (More on our website)

Yes, depending on your nationality. U.S. passport holders will need to show a passport valid for six months after the arrival date in Bali, a return ticket and FREE 30 day visa UPON ARRIVAL. Nothing to do in advance.

• What airport do I fly into?
Make all travel arrangements into Denpasar (DPS). Please be aware that you will need to depart the US one to two days before the start of the retreat, depending on the flight schedule you chose.
