4th November 2009
Purnama or full moon is considered a good day for planting, especially for plants that bear fruit. On this day Balinese will take offerings of food, fruit and flowers to the temple to be blessed by the priest. The Balinese are then blessed by performing various rituals using holy water, incense smoke, petals and rice grains.

Tumpek Krulut is a special day where offerings are given to pay homage to the musical instruments, masks, and dance costumes that are used in the numerous religious ceremonies in Bali. The instruments and other paraphernalia are decorated with young coconut leaf offerings, and holy water is sprinkled over them.
