LOVE AND PEACE THROUGH ART FESTIVAL
Artists around the world are warmly invited to take part in an international watercolor competition organized by IWS and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality in collaboration with the “Love and Peace through Art” International Watercolor Festival, offering both vacation and cash awards.
Online International Watercolor contestant eligibility & the entry rules :
1. Each contestant artist is allowed to submit up to two entries of artwork using watercolor media.
2. The contest is open to both amateur and professional artists, but must be of age 16 or older.
3. To enter the contest the digital images must be submitted online through the International Watercolor society’s website www.internationalwatercolo
They should be of hi-resolution, professional quality with image size between 300 dpi. 3 -4 MB.
4. There is no restriction on the subject, nor a limit on the size of the artwork.
5. The following information must be completed along with the digital files:
a) Name & Surname: b) Country: c) Website: d) E-mail: e) The title and Size of Artwork:
Prizes :
The top 3 winning artists will be granted a 10 day vacation within the Festival program (Domestic transportation, accommodation, food, cultural trips and other reward presents are included).
These winner artworks will be featured in the 2015 IWS traditional catalogue.
The winner artists will be also presented with a plaque and certificate at the awards ceremony.
Contest display :
The 3 winning artworks will be exhibited at the “Love and Peace through Art” International Watercolor Festival to be held between 12th and 15th of May, 2015 in Zeugma Museum, Gaziantep along with other professional artist paintings.

A watercolor contest within the festival program : Eligibility & the entry rules :
1. There is no limit to the number or the size of entries submitted. However, the artwork must feature Gaziantep city as a subject and should be in watercolor media to enter this category contest.
2. Amateur or professional, all artists from anywhere around the world can enter this international contest, but must be 16 years of age or older.
3. The artworks should be painted during the Festival period, between 12th and 14th of May 2015 in Gaziantep city by the attending participants or public.
4. The artworks completed during the Festival period, has to be submitted in hand by 14th of May, 2015 to the Festival committee.
Prizes :
Comprising a grand total cash prize of $20,000 to be awarded to the top 3 award winners, along with many small cash awards will be presented to the other place winners. Further exciting prizes and awards will be also presented to the participating contestants.
All winning artworks will be featured in the next traditional IWS catalogue.
Participating artists will be also presented with a plaque, certificate and prizes on May 15th, 2015.
