Purnama or full moon is considered a good day for planting, especially for plants that bear fruit. On this day Balinese will take offerings of food, fruit and flowers to the temple to be blessed by the priest. The Balinese are then blessed by performing various rituals using holy water, insence smoke, petals and rice grains.

The annual KuDeTa Film Nights presents its very own version of cinema paradiso once again. Take your seats and clear the aisles… except there are no aisles and you’re reclining on a giant daybed, or a rattan matt strewn with cushions on a soft grass foundation with stars overhead.
