Events: Tanah Lot Art Festival 2009 is held from May 30 until June 7, 2009. The Art Festival will take place at Surya Mandala Cultural Park Tanah Lot. Besides Balinese dance performances, there will be an exhibition of art and many other activities.

Events: Tumpek Kandang holiday is dedicated to Sang Hyang Rare Angon, the god of all cattle and livestock. On this day Balinese show their appreciation and thankfulness to all domesticated animals, especially cows and pigs, that help them in everyday life. The animals are given special foods, prayers are offered, and they are sprinkled with rice and holy water.

Events: Purnama or full moon is considered a good day for planting, especially for plants that bear fruit. On this day, Balinese will take offerings of food, fruit and flowers to the temple to be blessed by the priest. The Balinese are then blessed by performing various rituals using holy water, insence smoke, petals and rice grains.

Events: The 31st Bali Art Festival will be held at Bali Art Center. As a month-long festival participated by all regencies in the province of Bali and from other provinces in Indonesia and several foreign participants, like the USA, Korea, Japan, Australia, etc., the opening ceremony commences with an artistic parade at Bajra Sandi Renon Park.
